48 hours to change the world.
Every year in over 120 cities, people get together over 48 hours to learn, collaborate and prototype. A small team of us at Snook, a service design agency based in Glasgow, hosted the Glasgow leg of the Global Service Jam. I did the branding and identity of the Glasgow Service Jam in 2015, and went on the organise and run the jam with a small team at Snook in 2016. During the event we taught people about the design process, and facilitated their learning. In groups people came up with wild ideas; from a fail booth that allowed people to confess their failures, to a compliment ninja that encouraged people to pass on compliments to one another.

We received a huge amount of positive feedback from jam attendees, with 2 people even going on to run their own events. Many people from different walks of life attended the jam and learned research, synthesis, ideation, team work and other service design skills.
